COLUMBUS, GA. (September 22, 2018) - Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley (BGCCV) is accepting sealed bids from qualified food service management companies for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The bid is to supply meals and snack items to our 5 Club locations. The service area is for Food Service Management Companies and Vendors who service Muscogee County, Columbus, Ga. Items to bid on are meals and snack items. The contract project will begin November 1, 2018 and end on May 31, 2019. CACFP program is administered by the Bright from the Start with the state of Georgia. CACFP is a federally funded program that reimburses providers for serving nutritious meals to children in a day care environment. The potential food vendor will prepare all meals at an off-site location. Meals will be delivered to the following locations:
We operate Monday through Friday and follow the Muscogee County School District’s academic calendar. We serve 700 snacks and meals, which include shelf stable meals.
