Lily Gristina partners with BGCCV to provide ballet lessons to club members.
This summer at the J. Barnett Woodruff Club in Columbus, GA, Lily Gristina, a rising junior at Columbus High School has partnered with BGCCV to provide ballet lessons for our members. Classical ballet is a new experience for many of our members and provides a wonderful opportunity for them to expand their knowledge and creativity. We are very appreciative to Lily for dedicating her time and talent this summer. These lessons began on June 3 and will continue daily from 1:00-1:45pm until June 14. There are 12 girls currently participating, and they absolutely love Lily.
Lily has been training in classical ballet since she was just three years old, and she’s traveled around the nation and even to Canada attending summer intensives at Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, Ballet West, and Carolina Ballet. Lily makes it a priority to reach out into the community; not only is she providing lessons for our BGCCV members, she has also organized fundraisers to allow for members to attend the Nutcracker, a local production in which she has been a part of for many years. Just as the girls love her, Lily loves them. She is a very enthusiastic teacher and enjoys just spending the time getting to know our members.
