As a new, never-before-seen extension to the BGCCV mission, we are now providing a School Day Camp for Club members. This is to ensure that our youth continue to receive the services that they need to build great futures.
Our Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, productive citizens.
As such, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley will end its normal Summer Camp as planned on July 31st and then reopen at 7:30AM on August 10 (closing daily at 5:30PM). Our School Day Camp will remain open to serve the community until September 9 (tentatively) if there are no other changes with the Muscogee County School District.
The CLUB - Teen Center (200 Clover Ave.) and East Columbus Boys & Girls Club (3835 Forrest Road) will be our only locations open for School Day Camp. Between these two locations, we will be able to enroll students K-12 with limited available spaces due to social distancing and safety protocols.
During non-school instruction time, we will continue to run our normal core programming in the following areas: Art, Literacy, Technology, Social Recreation, Social Emotional Development, Physical Fitness, Character & Leadership Development, College & Career Readiness, and Academic Success.
Our membership fee is $50, and our School Day Camp fee is $100. It is free for teens. However, we never turn a family away if they cannot afford to pay a fee. Meals will also be included.
We will reopen all sites for after-school programming once MCSD resumes in-person instruction.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley is supported by the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley.
