The Leadership & Workforce Development Program provides youth with the support they need to best position themselves for the future. Formerly known as the Character & Leadership Development Program, our focus has shifted. While we continue to provide valuable character & leadership experiences for youth, we recognize that as the workforce continues to evolve, we have a responsibility to provide youth with the education and skills training needed to compete. Our Leadership & Workforce Development Program continues to provide leadership training as we have traditionally provided but will now also include increased Workforce Development training that provides a tiered approach including Essential Skill Development, Career Exploration, Employability and Certification Opportunities, and Work Based Learning. Overall, this program is the best option for ensuring youth are prepared for a rewarding future as equipped leaders and viable contenders in the workforce.
