ABOUT US

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley is a charter member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. BGCA's tradition of service to our nation's youth began in 1860 when the first Boys Clubs was established in Hartford, Connecticut. BGCCV was organized in 1937 in the neighborhoods of Jordan City by R. Curtis Jordan, Sr.

For more than 85years, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley has been a premier non-profit organization in the Valley that strives to help kids and teens. We have impacted countless generations in the community by ensuring our youth have the resources and support they need to thrive. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most , to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, productive citizens.

The organization has now grown to serve over 2,500 children in five locations annually, all the while maintaining its commitment to offering an affordable annual membership at $65.00 per child for all school-age children (6-18). Teens are free. During the summer, our program is offered Monday through Friday at the North Columbus, J. Barnett Woodruff (formerly South Columbus), and East Columbus Clubs.
